Mark passed on March 9, 1998. He died from cancer. He found out he had it in '92, just after he got married to Michele Bockholt (couple of years younger than us). He had a tumor removed from his leg and then went through chemo and went into remission. He and Michele were even able to conceive and had a baby girl, Kendra.  Unfortunately, the cancer came back and never went away. He had accomplished a lot.  He was proud of his long time association with WalMart, having risen through the ranks from a grocery sacker at Food 4 Less to a WalMart Store Manager.  He was also so very proud of his family.
