Dan was a good friend and will be missed by many!  Rest in peace, my friend.

I was able to get together with Dan and his wife Maureen, and Jon Dregalla and his wife Mary a couple years ago.  I'm so glad we made the effort to see each other.

Not just another kid in high school, I first met Dan when his family joined our church. Just like his dad, mom & sister, Dan was a great person, pleasant, friendly and quick to smile! He is going to be missed even though we haven't visited in decades!

I too am saddend by the death of Danny, as I knew him.  Although it is inevitable, it seems too soon, but who am I to make that call.  My sincerest sympathy to his family and friends at this time.  My memories are of his smile and of his generosity; they will be missed.

It is a sad day with the loss of Dan.  I hung out with Dan during high school and after his return from college and Vietnam we resumed are friendship even stronger.  We traveled, boated, dirt bike, snow ski and had a few cocktails together.  I was his bestman at his wedding to Maureen and he was the bestman at my wedding.

This fall on my way from up north to florida , my wife and i stopped and stayed with Maureen and Dan in N.C.  We had a great time reminscing about Berea and our youthful years. Even with him fighting his illness he still has his smile and  that great sense of humor!

REST IN PEACE DANNY / YOU WILL BE MISSED

I don't think I started hanging out with Dan until after high school.  What I remember most is how quiet and soft spoken he was.  He never had a bad word to say about anyone.  My thoughts and prayers are with his lovely wife Maureen and his family.  God bless you all.

Sincerely,

Steve Monchak
