Marvin D. Schlicher 63, passed Oct. 8, 2012 at his residence in Beech Grove. Born May 18, 1949 in Springfield, Ohio, he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and retired from AT&T after 39 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Janice; children, Michael and Eric Schlicher and Lori (Jeff) Payton; mother, Anna Marie Schlicher; brothers, Lynn (Marcia), Carlton (Barbara) and Charles Schlicher; 4 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11 at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madi son Avenue , with the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 12. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, where military graveside rites will be conducted. Memorial contributions: St. Francis Hospice or The Military Order of the Purple Heart.
