Jean Shredl, age 70, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away on September 5, 2023. She was born on April 19, 1953, in Berea, Ohio.

Jean was a beloved wife to Larry Shredl for over 50 years, a devoted mother to Andrea Shredl, and a cherished grandmother to Alexandria Shredl. She was known to Alexandria's friends as "Grammy".

Jean was the middle child of nine children and is survived by her sisters, Anne Boone, Rita Keel, Betty Ponziani, and Bernadette Hamil.

Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Blanche Mordarski, her father, Frank Mordarski, her son, Adam Shredl, her sister, Katherine "Cookie" Fisher, and her brothers, Ronald Mordarski, William Mordarski, and Richard Mordarski.

Jean found solace and community in her faith, and she worshipped at Saint Paul's Catholic Church in Westerville, Ohio.

In her free time, Jean indulged in her passions for cooking and baking.  She loved to travel the world and spend her winters in Florida with her husband.  She also loved traveling to gymnastic meets around the country to watch her granddaughter complete.   She was an avid Buckeye fan and also followed the Cleveland Guardians closely.

Jean's warm presence and kind heart will be deeply missed by her family, countless friends and many cousins.  She will now be able to join her son in heaven.  Her memory will forever be treasured.
