Jim was my best friend from Fairwood Elementary School through Berea High School. We lived in the same neighborhood and were in Boy Scouts together. After high school, he went to Vietnam and I went to college. Vietnam changed him as I’m sure college changed me and we never found anything in common to keep our friendship going. I would have liked seeing him at the reunion; we would still have had our school days to reminisce.
