FREDERICK HENRY TOEDTMAN, 67, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013 at home in Evanston, IL. Fred is survived by his wife Dawne (nee Delsanter); dearest father of Todd, Terre Strcic, Ryan and Zachary; loving grandfather of Ashley, Dylan, Alex, and Payton; his brother Richard (Donna). Fred is preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Mary (nee Griffith), and his sister Karen (Steve Minich). Fred was born in Berea, OH and graduated Midpark High School. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

After his service in the U.S. Navy, Fred worked as a professional photographer before he began a long career in music promotion with Warner/Elektra/Atlantic Records. In the 1980's, he moved to Chicago and later changed career paths to the high-line car sale industry which eventually took him back home to the Cleveland area where he raised his two younger sons in Chagrin Falls.

He returned to Evanston, IL to live and work before falling ill to Mesothelioma. Fred would ask to be remembered for his subtle wit, his extensive knowledge and love of music, all things cars, and his fun loving, adventurous spirit.
