Karen Juanita Ruffner Baldrige, 62, of Ranson, West Virginia, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the Willow Tree Healthcare Center, Charles Town, West Virginia. Karen was born March 24, 1956 in Clarke County, Virginia, daughter of the late Owen Osborne Ruffner, Sr. and Lucille Bertha Borsig Ruffner. Surviving are her daughters, Melissa Croson and her husband, Keith, of Berryville, VA and Faith Austin and her fiancé, Donald, of Jacksonville, FL; son, Justin Wagner and his wife, Cynthia, of Newport, TN; grandchildren, Roman Petti, Isabelle Austin and Cecilia Higginbotham; brothers, Louis Ruffner and his wife, Ellen Mae, James Ruffner and his wife, Shirley, Raymond Ruffner and his wife, Karen, Kenneth Ruffner, Sr. and his wife, Diana, Thomas Ruffner, Sr. and his wife, Treasa, and Robert Ruffner, Sr. and his wife, Jackie; many nieces and nephews; and her friend, Judy Engle. Her brothers, Owen “Harvey” Ruffner, Jr. and Richard Ruffner, Sr. and sisters, Doris Manuel, Clara Anne Mibourne, Evelyn Longerbeam and Catherine “Kitty” Peck Pickel, all preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Kearneysville, WV.
