Betty Jean Sechrist, 54, of South Riding, Virginia, died Friday, December 30, 2011 in INOVA Loudoun Hospital, Leesburg, Virginia. Ms. Sechrist was born November 11, 1957 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of Madison Calvin and Ruth Corder Sechrist. She had worked for Loudoun County Public Schools.  Surviving are her mother of Paris, VA; two brothers, Madison Calvin Sechrist, Jr. of Winchester, VA and David Sechrist of Paris, VA; and four sisters, Margaret Sine of Paris, VA, Juanita Sechrist of Stephens City, VA, Mary Frances Swaner of Winchester, VA and Theresa Mae Holliday of Stephens City, VA. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Friday, January 6, 2011 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Karen Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Yellow Springs, WV. Pallbearers will be Brian Swaner, Cody Swaner, Franklin Holliday, Chris Holliday and Wendell Sine. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P. M. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sechrist Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 106, Berryville, VA 22611.
