Charles Richard Welsh was born March 4, 1958 in Winchester, a son of Charles Dearmont Welsh and Pauline M. Smallwood Welch. He was a student at Clarke County High School in Berryville. Surviving with his parents are a brother, Randy Allen Welsh, and a sister Kathy Marie Welch both at home; and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Smallwood of Berryville. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the John H. Enders Funeral Home by the Rev. Wilson D. Jones. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday. Pallbearers will be Larry Gordon, William R. Thompson, III, Dennis Heflin, Nelson Sager, Alvin and Calvin Blankenship, Bobby Manuel and Bobby Unger.
