Carl E. Banfi born August 14, 1953 in Oak Park, IL to Edwin and Geraldine Banfi, passed away April 8, 2007 at his home in Burien, WA after a fight with cancer.
Carl was a graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana earning a B.S. in chemistry and a MBA in information systems. He is survived by his loving wife Pat of 21 years; brothers and sister Lee, Glenn, Dale, Lynn and their families, and many good friends.

And now his wife Pat Brda (also from our '71 MW class) has passed away, as well. I learned that @ our reunion last week, & found her obituary on-line. She passed in August '15 from cancer. SO SAD, they were both brilliant/wonderful/creative people.

So sorry to hear about both Carl and his wife Pat. I have known Pat since we were in grade school together and knew she and Carl were always together during high school and into college. Both were very intelligent and caring people. The world will be a sadder place without them.
