Mark A. Rothe, 37, passed away unexpectedly at 10:03 a.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Alton Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 26, 1971, in Alton, the son of Earl F. and Sharon (Hanson) Rothe.

He served his country in the U.S. Army as a 82nd Airborne Trooper during the Gulf War from 1989 to 1992. He was co-owner of Dorma's Screen Printing in Bethalto. He was an excellent pool player and was involved with several pool leagues and was a member of the American Poolplayers.

Mark will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
