Diego Von Vacano

Graduated from WJ, spent a year back in Bolivia.
Then went to college at Wesleyan in CT for poli sci.
Went to World Cup of soccer in Italy as a press reporter in 1990.
Spent a year in Paris. Got a master's in public policy at Harvard in 96. Spent a year at Chicago. Poli Sci PhD at Princeton in 2003. Played a lot of soccer there.
Spent time in Rome in 1998.
After Princeton I taught at Williams, Vassar, Columbia, and Hunter College before getting a tenure-track post at Texas A&M.
Spent 2008 at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, and this year at CASBS at Stanford.
Now finishing my second book.

Morgann Paraskevas, Tamas Peterfalvy and I were crazy back then! (can't tell you what we did to WJ hahaah).
Also had a great time with "The Club:" Peter Tshimanga, Elvis Tanke, Danith Oum, Cosmos Panphile, Marco Recalde, and other friends like Otto Bottger, Alex Calvo, etc.
