My sister, Lisa, died in December of 1982. She had had enough of diabetes, which by that time had made her blind, neuropathic, weak and with a failed kidney transplant. As I mentioned earlier, she had gotten a lawyer, documented her wishes and intentions, and stopped taking her insulin. She died within three days.
