I rememberyour half smirk smile
your long light brown hair
the slight tilt of your head
I remember
warm breezes
overcast Skies
friends sitting circled
on the crest of Whitman's Hill
I remember
your dad had died
George had called
your mom was at work
and I was with you
but your heart slipped far away
