In Loving Memory Samuel Johnathan Barnett January 10, 1980 - July 30, 1999
Samuel Johnathon Barnett was born January 10, 1980 in Lenior County. He died July 30, 1999. Samuel was the fifth child born to Joseph and Joyce Barnett of Albertson, NC. He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Andy Keith Barnett, Paul and David Barnett, and one sister Joy Sugg; two nieces and eleven nephews.
Samuel graduated from East Duplin where he was active for three years in the Chorus and Swing Choir.
Samuel loved music, go-cart racing, bike riding, bull riding, his silver Camaro, and pretty girls.
Wherever Sam was at, he brought laughter to those around him. He loved and was loved by many. He had a natural knack for making people smile and feeling comfortable. Samuel brought a lot of joy to his family. He loved them very much. Sam was happiest when he was with his friends cruising Beulaville or just chillin' out. Samuel will be missed especially by his family, but also by all of those who came to know and love him. Sam loved life and lived it to its fullest. He will not be forgotten. He will always be remembered by his out going love for life, his sweet smile and his pretty auburn hair. We love you, Sam.

I remember being in Mr. Quinn's class with Samuel just like it was yesterday. I think it was Samuel, Dawn Taylor, and myself would write notes back and forth the whole class. He was so sweet and always so happy. My second memory of him that stands out is him dancing and singing in the Swing Choir. He is missed.Kimberly Edwards
First memory: I remember Samuel being in Chorus and Swing Choir. Everyone called him CHESTER!Second memory: He was such a flirt!
Third memory: It was actually right after we graduated, I got a brand new camaro (99 model and it was red). He was always riding around Beulaville and we would take turns riding in each others car. His was silver.
Fourth memory: After graduation, we would always hang out at the beach.
I can see his smile right now and those red cheeks :)
