Glen Thacker was murdered on June 2nd 2006 along with his girlfriend Asiah Foster. The man that killed them was Michael Fields of Yuma, Va he has been convicted and sentenced to Life w/o Parole.
Glen was very funny and was a great person @ heart. He will be truly missed!

Life is different now. Asiah and Glen were taken from us without regard to the value of their lives, without regard to the consequence and without regard for the family left behind to suffer the incredible and unforgettable loss.
Glen and Asiah were very much in love! I have never seen two people who cared more about each other than they did. They met a few years ago in Kingsport while Glen lived with me and Asiah lived with her mother. It was love at first sight! It was the kind of magic and chemistry that took your breath away!
They had their ups and down in their relationship, like any one else though, they stuck it out, worked it out and remained together. In fact you would rarely see one without the other. They were two halves of a whole.
Glen was my best friend, a great brother, a wonderful uncle and son. He had a wonderful, goofy sense of humor. Asiah was a beautiful girl, she was sweet and cared for her family who carried herself well and loved my brother.
The world is forever changed without the presence of these two people; the rhythm of my life is different without them. They will be truly missed.
My heart goes out to Asiah's family. They might now be physically here anymore, but their spirits remain and we will be there voices in the days to come. They will be heard! Justice will be served.
