My dear sweet Carolyn, she was a great friend of mine. I visited with her about 6 months or so before she passed away. I did not know she was so sick. I am so glad I got to talk and visit with her at that time. I had not seen her for many years before that.
The day I stopped to see her, I was on my way to see my mother who was very ill in the Hospital at that time. I had been to BSG many times before that but could never catch her home. She loved to go to Dolly Wood. So she was usually gone down there when I would come up to BSG.
Carolyn and I were friends as far back as I can remember. We both went to Arno school and spent many recess times with Patsy Rutherford and others playing hopscotch and jump rope. Carolyn was always a sweet and gentle friend and I think of her often. Elaine
