Mrs. Gembach was a great teacher and a good friend.

Never will forget her stamina and energy in helping students like me to believe in myself in learning math. Having her as a mentor was a blessing for me in my believing in myself concerning my classes. May she rest in peace. I am very happy to say that I knew her and was influenced by her in preparing for my future.

Nancy "Hobbs" Willis (1967). Mrs. Gembach is still in my memories as a teacher at PV High School. I can still remember her little figure, small frame, short, but a strong stigma toward her students in learning. No or I don't know was never in her vocabulary. There were no reasons whatsoever that noone had their homework or could not pass her tests. When you were in her classes, you never went to sleep and I know I certainly did learn in her classes. I had her as a gym, english, & math teacher. She really left a great impression in my life and I am saddened at her passing away. I know Kelly is very blest to have her as a Mother and Jack to have her as his wife and I know she is missed dearly by her family. She was such a great asset to her family, friends, church members, and her community. She was always going somewhere, mostly Knoxville, TN and the Carolinas whenever I talked with her. She never slowed down and that is what I remember about Mrs. Gembach, my friend, my teacher, my mentor.

The toughest and best teacher I've ever known. I was intent on failing geometry, but she pulled me out in the hall and convinced me I could do it. Ended up with a B thanks for her careing and pursuasion. We need more like her today!
