Mrs. C. Lawson and I loved having meeting with the students in the back of the library by the window to find out what was going on in the school. They loved to come in and talk to us. So many of the boys loved to hide their tobacco spit cups behind the retired teachers pictures. They thought we didn't know but we did. We'd clean them out once a day so they couldn't come back and get them after the next class. We loved talking to the students and helping them find what they needed!
