Brandon Acheson

Billings Gazette, January 25, 2014 12:00 am

Brandon M. Wilks was born on July 7, 1978, in Billings, to Curtis and Betty Wilks. He was called home on Jan. 18, 2014. Brandon was raised in Billings and graduated from Billings West High School along with a degree from MSU-Great Falls in teaching. He loved to hunt and fish but most of all he loved to spend time with his three boys, Brendin, Michael and Hunter. He had very many friends and family to whom he always had them in stitches with his practical continuous jokes and his loving generosity.

He is survived by his sons, Brendin Wilks of Great Falls, Michael and Hunter Wilks of Billings; his father, Curtis (Cheryl) Wilks of Billings; his mother, Betty (Wilks) Norman of Billings; his brother, Dewey Wilks of Billings; his grandmother, Eugina Rongholt of Billings; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Also, two very, very special friends, Dennis Greenwood and Ross Norman, who were by Brandon's side when ever he needed them. Such a special thanks to them both for their friendship to Brandon.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa Ralph (Bob) Wilks of Billings, grandpa Milo (Mike) Rongholt of Billings, his uncle Dan Rongholt, and uncle Alvin Rongholt.

No funeral at Brandon's request but a memorial will be set up at a later date to celebrate Brandon's life. I know we will see him again, because we know he has just gone fishing.
