Just think--Tom died 20 years ago. It's so hard to believe. That was a lifetime ago.

I was very glad to see this posting for Tommy.  Tommy and his family were very good of friends of mine.  When I lived in San Diego, I spent many hours with them.  Tommy was married to my friend, Chris Baker, at the time.  We had several gatherings at their cabin in Big Bear Lake - each one just a total laugh fest!  Whenever his parents came to So. California, they always contacted me and we would get together.  Truly good, kind people.  Tommy used to tease me incessantly in high school, but all in good fun.  He left us way too soon.

Marla, thank you Tom's obituary.  I kept running into blank walls looking for it, and was considering calling Mickey after the holidays to get the information.

Thanks for the obituary Marla!  I think it's very important to remember our classmates who've passed on, plus it's very interesting to read what they did in their lives.  I'll never forget the hot streak Dobbins had in a basketball game with Sidney or Glendive (in their gym)....he couldn't miss.  It was an important game (playoff?), so a bus load of us went down there to cheer the team on.

I met Tom at Lincoln. We started shooting baskets at the YMCA on sundays while our brothers, Mickey Dobbins and Charlie Robinson, had dance band practice in the big gym and we used the small gym.  We weren't close but we could have been fishing buddies if the car we were going to use to go fishing hadn't blown up.  Spring time, 1963, I'd like to point out Jim Rex was driving:) I really liked Tommy and still like Jim.
