Harry Folvag passed away peacefully Thursday Dec. 4, 2008, at his home in the presence of his family.

He was born on July 19, 1945 in Williston, N.D., the son of Lloyd and Pauline Folvag. Harry helped his father work the family farm in Froid, Mont. until they moved to Billings in 1964.

It was in Billings, while working at the Phillips 66 station as a mechanic when he met the love of his life, Kathy Haider, who worked at the Poor Boy Drive Inn. They married on Nov. 23, 1968, sharing their life together mostly in Billings. They lived in Casper, Wyo. from 1980 to 1984, where Harry owned a Texaco station. He retired in 2007 from Skyview High School where he had been a custodian for 19 years.

Harry was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. He also had a great love for music and had a beautiful singing voice.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lester.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, his daughter Margaret (Thomas) Weber of Tampa, Fla. and a son, Steven of Billings, three sisters Sharon (Francis) Arneson of Savage, Carol (Richard) Miller and Charlene (James) Elkins of Billings, a sister-in-law Norma (Lester) Folvag of Billings.

Memorials can be made to the charity of your choice.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Monday Dec. 8, at Cremation & Funeral Gallery. Condolences can be sent online to www.cfgbillings.com.
