Garry Geffre was born Feb. 28, 1946, to Val and Frieda (Foos) Geffre. He passed from this earth Nov. 23, 2014.

Garry attended Billings schools and graduated from Billings Senior High in 1965. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in the fall of ’65 and was honorably discharged as a Vietnam veteran in 1967. He was married to Robyn Leischner Geffre in 1966 and later divorced. Three sons, Kevin, Kyle and Kory were born to this union. At the encouragement from his father-in-law, Garry obtained his plumber/pipe-fitter license and worked in Colstrip for a few years. He then joined his father-in-law in his business “Magic City Plumbing and Heating” taking it over in the mid ’80s. His son Kevin joined him and they worked together until Garry’s retirement in 2010.

As his health permitted, Garry enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. He also enjoyed helping his sister Ella and her husband Jim and their son Greg on their farm west of Billings. He looked forward to the family times he shared with his sisters Ella and Darlene and their families.

Garry was pre-deceased by his parents, Val and Frieda. He is survived by his sons Kevin, Kyle and his wife Gloria and grandchildren Matt and Addie, and Kory and his wife Reagan. Garry was excitedly awaiting the birth of Kory and Reagan’s twins. He is also survived by his sister Ella (Jim) Neibauer and family and his sister Darlene (Bill) Dugger and family.

Garry has been cremated and no services are planned per his request. His family and close friends will have a military burial and honors at a later date. Memorials may be made to the “Wounded Warriors Project” or a charity of one’s choice.

May you rest in peace, Dad.
