Sheena S. Lamach, age 66, of Polson, formerly of Helena

October 29, 1947 – May 5, 2014

Polson – Sheena Sue (Hedrick) Lamach, went to be with our heavenly father on Monday, May 5, 2014 at St. Luke Extended Care in Ronan, Montana. Sheena was born in Bozeman on October 29, 1947. She was the third child of Dorothy Hannah (Carlson) Hedrick and Stanley Warren Hedrick.

          As a child she lived with her parents in the towns of Bozeman, Chinook, Big Sandy, Great Falls, Havre and Billings. In 1967 while attending Miles Community College in Miles City she met and married her husband Leroy Guy Lamach. They lived together in Billings and Miles City where their two children were born. Then it was on to Bozeman where she helped her husband complete college.

           They next lived in Houston, TX, Miles City and Port Orchard, WA for short periods of time. Helena was their home for the next twenty –two years and they have lived in Polson for the last eleven and one half years.

            Sheena graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1965 and also received her Associate of Arts degree from Miles Community College. She was active as a leader for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Rainbow for Girls and Demolay for Boys. She was also a member of Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile.

          Sheena was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Kenneth Darrell Hedrick and a sister Judith Ann Armold.

          She is survived by her husband Leroy, her daughter Pamela Sue Olson of Havre and her children, Thomas, Nicholas and Hannah and husband Erick; her son Richard Stanley Lamach of Helena and his children Guy, Megan, Chase and Noah and his wife Kathryn and numerous nieces and nephews; she is also survived by an aunt Barbara Kuiken of Bozeman.

       Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Avenue in Helena. A reception will be held in the social center of the funeral home immediately following the memorial service.
