Steve was a super friendly, nice person. I knew his family a bit who were also great. Steve was one of two people on our 1967 Bronc football team who went on to play pro football (Pete Lazetich was the other, of course). This always seemed pretty notable to me, two future pro footballers on the same HS team from a Montana town. The Broncs also won the State in basketball that year! Pretty amazing...   Steve was a fun, hard working guy. I'm glad he went on to have a family and successful business in Billings. - Jeff Madsen

Steve and I spent a lot of time together during high school and
the first couple years after. He was a friend you could depend on
to back you up. Loyal to give a hand always. Unfortunately after we
moved we lost contact but I often thought of him and would remember
all the good times we had. Rest in peace old friend!
