Cherie Hinds VIEW PROFILE

 

Cherie Katheia Hinds was born August 30, 1982 in Birmingham, Alabama to Alfredo and Sharon Hinds.

She was a star student at St. Mary’s Elementary school from kindergarten until eighth grade. She graduated from Ramsay Alternative High School in the class of 2000. She attended theUniversity of Alabama in Huntsville and University of Alabama in Birmingham.

She was employed and took enjoyment in working in the Emergency Room at UAB Hospital. Cherie can be described as a smart, vivacious, lovable, funny, picture-taking, fashionable, beautiful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend.

Cherie accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and joined the First Baptist Church of Birmingport in Birmingport, Alabama. She recently rededicated her life to Christ and was attending The Rock Church in Forestdale, Alabama.

Cherie’s life journey ended on November 12, 2010 after a 20-day battle following a traumatic car accident. Her love will forever be cherished by her parents, Alfredo Hinds and Sharon (Chris) Jones of Birmingham, Alabama; her favorite and only brother, Carlos Hinds of Birmingham, Alabama; step-sisters, Christy Williams, LeKeshia Williams, and Deontrenese Jones of Birmingham, Alabama; grandmothers, Mamie Collins, Rosa King of Birmingham, Alabama, Sylvia Hinds of Miami, Florida; special niece and nephew, Haley and Bradley of Birmingham, Alabama; uncles, Charles (Annie) Collins and Jerry Collins of Birmingham, Alabama; aunts, Mary Collins and Ernestine Collins of Birmingham, Alabama, Shirley (Michael) Holder of Cordele, Georgia and Bridget Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of other relatives adopted family and friends.
