He was a 1961 Wenonah High School Graduate, attendee of Tuskegee Institute, U.S. Navy Veteran and devoted lifelong member of Mt. Olive Baptist, Tarpley City. Brother Coleman served with the Choir, Sunday School and mid-week studies. He was the son of John and Charity Griffin Coleman and leaves fond memories with a son, Christopher (Synetric) Coleman; sisters, Shirley and Veronica and numerous grandchildren. Military Rites and Inhumation is 11:00 Friday, September 6, 2024, at Zion Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jessie Young, Officiant. Calling Hours at Johnson Memorial, Bessemer, Thursday Noon until 8:00 with Musical Tribute at 5:00.
