Jimmie (Phil) James Showers, age 69, of Trotwood, OH, passed away on May 16, 2018. He was born November 17, 1948 in Birmingham, AL, the second son of the late Donald and Jimmie Showers. Jimmie was a 1968 graduate of Wenonah High School, Birmingham, AL. He was married to the late Mildred Lee Showers. He retired from G.M. Delco Moraine Plant in Dayton, OH after a thirty-six year career. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Lee Showers. Jimmie leaves behind his brothers, Donald (Jackie) and Cornelius (both of Birmingham, AL), as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends from coast to coast. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24, 2018, 12:00 noon, at Glickler Funeral Home, 1849 Salem Ave. Dayton, OH. Interment at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH.
