age 67, of Birmingham, AL, entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2020. She served faithfully as assistant deacon board chair, choir member, and with the culinary ministry at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church. Precious memories remain with her loving husband, Alfred French; son, Sean Derrick (Jacquelyn) French; stepchildren, Kimberly (Rashan) Herndon and Darryl French; grandchildren, Ariana and Ariele French; and a host of relatives and friends. She will lie in state from 4 - 7 PM on Friday, January 17, at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church (1320 2nd Ave West). Services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church (2200 Pike Rd) with burial in G. W. Carver Memorial Gardens.
