DERIK W. HALE,  Age 52, of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010. He was a member of Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and a graduate of Wenonah High School class of 1976. He is survived by his wife, Angela A. Hale; three daughters, MoniQue L. Hale, Danika R. Hale and DeArquinetta J. Benion; son, Jeremy D. Benion; two brothers, Lawrence Hale, Jr. (Rosemary) and Robert Charles Hale (Angie); two grandchildren, DeNaejah A. Bruce and Trevor I. Young; special niece, Aronia P. Hale; great niece, Brooklynn J. Bester; and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Bushelon Funeral Home directing.
