
CECIL McGINNIS, JR., 45, died Friday, August 20, 2010. He was a 1983 graduate of Wenonah H.S. Preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean McGinnis. Survivors: father, Cecil (Donna) McGinnis; sons, Martez Seay and Johnathan Shepherd; sisters, Burnette McGinnis-Jenkins and Tracy McGinnis; brothers, Anthony McGinnis (Valarie, the best sister-in-law that a person can ever have) and Jesse Laster; grandchildren, Aireuna and Ma'lya; special niece, Venus Swann; nieces and nephews, Justin, Kendyl, Anthony, Matthew, Marcus, Jabria, Shacora, Tevin and Terrance. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 28th at 11am at Blessed Assembly Fresh Fire Worship Center, Hueytown. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Carl Davis officiating. Brighton Funeral Home directing.

It is of great sadness to hear of the passing of our classmate Mr. Cecil McGinnis, I will always remember the good time we all had at there house during High School. They invited everyone into there house to enjoy themselves during those good days. I hope and pray that the Mcginnis family find comfort in Jesus, for he is in charge of all.
