Comments:
After high school I went to Maryville University in St. Louis for 4 1/2 years. While there I played baseball and basketball and was lucky enough to get to do some travelling around the country (Hawaii, Floriday, California, Virginia, and Colorado). After those 4 1/2 years (1 class short of graduating-my motivation was not exactly high at the time) I moved back to Bismarck for a few months until injuring myself in a car wreck (not my brightest moment). I lived in Salem with my parents for a year before moving to the St. Louis area to sell cars. After a short "career" as a car salesman I became the assistant director of a couple before and after school child care programs in the Parkway schools and loved that job. I eventually finished up my college degree (only took me 8 years for that 4 year degree, mom and dad were so proud) and then got hired by he state as a Probation and Parole Officer where I've been ever since. In 2005 I was promoted from an officer to a supervisor and continue to serve in that position in Union, MO.
My wife Kimberly and I were married 9/17/05, bought a house in 8/06, and our son Ethan was born 8/3/07, so it's been a busy few years. I love the married with children life and am glad that I finally made it to that point in my life after a few (or more than a few) years of not being so mature. I'm happier than I can ever remember being.
Kim's a literacy coach at an elementary school in the Clayton School District and really enjoys her job. I'm really proud of her as a teacher, a wife, and a mom.
Other than my regular job I umpire high school and summer league baseball and softball, and basketball in the schools in this area. We're also in the process of finishing our basement and we can't wait to get that done. I still love to read, watch or listen to pretty much every Mizzou football game (gave up the season tix after the 05 season and the became really good, wouldn't you know it), of course hang out with Kim and Ethan.
