Tiffany was born June 9, 1983, at Bismarck to Paul Eikanas and Debra Marie Stotz. She attended grade school in Mandan and graduated from Bismarck High School in 2001. She worked at Wendy's, Herbergers and Dan's Supermarket. She graduated from Army National Guard basic training on June 13, 2002.

She loved animals and was aspiring to be a veterinarian. She also loved sports, and hockey was her passion. She even got her grandparents hooked on it. She was a member of the Bismarck High School girls hockey team and played hockey since the girls hockey program was started in 1994, winning the first state tournament in 1998.
