My husband & I own a horse business where we raise fit & show World & Congress Champion Halter Horses of all breeds including AQHA, APHA, PHBA, PtHA, IBHA & ABRA. Since we met in 2000, we have had over 120 World or Reserve World Champions.

It is a tiresome job, very full-time, with long hours and hard work. We are gone most weekends out of the year to horse shows, and do 7 different World shows each year, some of them lasting a week to 2 weeks long. But it's enjoyable!! and very few people get a chance to make their living doing what they LOVE to do!!

I have owned a couple of businesses along the way, a car lot, which my husband and I both owned, and I owned a Real Estate publication that circulated in all of Tulsa County. But as you can see from our horse schedule, there was not much time for anything else...so I have sold both and stuck solely to the horse business.

I noticed that 147 classmates are still unknown...guess when you graduate from Bixby, there is no looking back, HA! Including myself...I moved around a couple of times after college, but have been back here since 1999...so I don't know what took me so long either. I will update more stuff as I go......so long for now!!!

UPDATE: moved to Pilot Point, Tx in September 2009. BIG horse country. Since we are in that business there is more traffic for buying/selling horses, etc. It has proved to be a great decision so far. I really don't have a school story. I was not the popular kid, nor the geek, but sort of faded into the background. I showed horses then too, so I never went out for sports or was involved in cheerleading.

I pretty much led my own life and did my own thing, got made fun of for it...I think, HAHA!! I still do my own thing. Don't have much time for a social life... except with other horse people, but we are happy and live eventful lives, so I am not complaining either!! :-)

I have good memories of Bixby...no bad stuff...some typical harassment from certain individuals, but nothing that will surface years from now and cause me to appear on Dr Phil or Oprah LOL!!!
