Sharon Fallis 52

Sharon Francis Webb Fallis, 52, Died Sunday, June 23, 1996 in her sleep from an apparent heart attack, while on a fishing weekend with family and friends at Jackson Trout Farm in Pingree. She had a history of heart problems.

 

She was born on April 4, 1944 at Blackfoot, the daughter of Francis and Ethel Pauline Shindurling Webb. After graduating from high school, she became a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

 

She married Burdette Bates on June 22, 1960 at Pingree and they were later divorced. She married Dewey Lane Fallis on May 22, 1981 in Idaho Falls.

 

Aside from her work she enjoyed going to garage sales, fishing, and camping. She will be remembered for her giving and outgoing nature.

 

She is survived by her husband, Dewey “Dew” Fallis, Sr., Pingree; Three daughters: Mrs. David (Karen) Williams, Rockford; Tammy Golder, Idaho Falls; and Mrs. Burt (Wendy) Goodyear, Pingree; one son, David Bates and Carolin, Melba; four step daughters; Mrs. Jose (Julie) Alonzo; Mrs. Travis (Tammy) Jenks; Mrs. Bruce (Malinda) Anderson, all of Idaho Falls; and Mrs. Matt (Josie) Birch, Baltimore, Md.; one stepson Dewey Fallis, Jr. and Kandace, Idaho Falls; four sisters; Mrs Mick (Ruth) Parris; and Anges Webb Johnson, both of pingree; Mrs. Roger (Jean) Ockerman, Firth; and a twin, Mrs. Jerry (Karen) Gay, Blackfoot; and 17 grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; by a sister, Barbara Hansen; and by one granddaughter.

 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jun 27 at the Pingree Second Ward LDS Church, 1533 West Highway 39, with Bishop Ron Raymond conducting. The family will greet friends at Packham mortuary Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church from 10 to 10:50 a.m.

 

Burial will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
