
Roland Parris 49
Roland Parris 49, Moreland. died on Friday, Nov. 5, 1993 at his home from causes due to cancer.
He was born August 25, 1944 in Malad, the son of Verl P and C Marie Myers Parris. He attened schools in Arimo until coming to the Blackfoot area at the age 10.
He was married to Wanda Farnworth in 1964, in Riverside. The couple later divorced. He was married to Judith Peterson in October, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was a member of the LDS Church. He worked for many years as a supervisor at Sunspiced in Blackfoot until 1978. He then worked as a custom builder doing siding and most recently roofing.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, hores and playing giutar.
Survisors include his wife judy of Moreland, one daughter, Kimarie Parris, Nampa; his mother Marie Parris, Moreland; four brothers; Mitchell "Mick" Parris, Pingree; Dan Parris, Phoenix, AZ; and Jacob and Dilbert "Red" Parris, both of Blackfoot; two sisters, Patricia Henkle, Burley; LuAnn Huffman, Boardman, Ore.; and one granddaughter, Erika Nichole Biggers.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Ben Parris.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1993, at the Moreland LDS Church with Bishop Rex Young conducting.
The family will meet with friends Monday evening at Hill-Sanberg Furneral Home from 7-9 p.m. and again on Tuesday at the chruch for one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery.
