Miss Julia Elissa Howell

Miss Julia Elissa (Lisa) Howell, Blue Ridge Hwy, Blairsville, GA, born September 16, 1953,  formerly of Marietta, age 17, died April 23, 1971. Graveside services were held Sunday, April 25, 1971 at Mountain View Cemetery, Marietta, GA. Rev. T. Stewart Matthews officiated.

Lisa was a native of Marietta. Resided there until moving to Blairsville, GA January 1970. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Marietta, GA. She attended Marietta High School, where she was a junior when she moved to Blairsville, GA. At Blairsville, she was a senior at Union County High School. She died from injuries sustained when lightening struck her telephone at the residence on which she was talking.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Ron Howell, Blairsville, GA., formerly of Marietta, GA.; sister Miss Cecilia Ann Howell, Blairsville, GA.; brother Mr. C. Ron Howell, Jr., Blairsville, GA.. Maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Frank C. Owenby, Marietta, GA.; Paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C C Howell, Smyrna, GA.
