Valeria Kieviet (Armour)

Valeria Armour, 68, of Bloomington died at 10:52 p.m. Friday (Jan 1, 2010) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Normal, with Pastor Jeffrey R Hendricks officiating.  Inurnment will be at a later date.  Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington.  Memorials may be made to Our Saviour Lutheran Church.

She was born Aug 16, 1941, in Chicago to John H and Bertha L Ziebell Kieviet.  She married Vernelle Armour on June 7, 1980, in Normal.  He survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Diane L (Mike) Peterson, Bloomington; a sister, Kora (Jim) Searcy, Normal; and a brother-in-law, Max (Ann) Jones, Dunfermline.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Valeria worked several places over the years in food service, most recently at Illinois State University and Wendy's.

She was a charter member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church and a member of the Corn Belt Philatelic Society.
