
Paul Miller, 81, of Bloomington, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL. His service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 11 am, at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, with David Butler officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Bloomington/Normal American Legion Honor Guard. Following the service, burial will be held at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am, on Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to be made to the charity of the donor's choice or to the family.
Paul was born in Springfield, IL, on April 5, 1943, to Deane Kimball and Cecelia Pauline (Brooks) Miller. He married Norma Butler on July 11, 1976, in Bloomington, IL. He is survived by his wife, Norma; and their daughter, Laura (Al) Menke, of Arvada, CO; son-in-law, John Phoenix, Bloomington. Also surviving are five grandchildren and his sister, Carol (Jim) Weber.
Paul is a graduate of Bloomington High School and served in the Army from 1965-1967. He worked at Eureka Company and retired after 30 years. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Bloomington American Legion.
