Carol Ann (Rohde) Hertter, 82, passed away on March 26, 2025, at the Blake at Edgewater in Indian Land, SC.  Carol dedicated 46 years to nursing, retiring in 2010.  She earned her nursing degree from Mennonite School of Nursing in 1964.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald L. Rohde; husband, William R. Hertter; and son Douglas R. Hertter.  She is survived by her children, Sarah Duncan, Andrew Hertter, and Rachel (Todd) Mull; her grandchildren, Ashley Hertter, Shelby Winchell, Lexy Winchell, Reed John Hoover, and Cole William Hoover; and her sister, Margo (Leon) Boline.  Donations may be made in Carol's name to Home Sweet Home Ministries, www.hshministries.org, Bloomington.
