Carol 'Sudie' Lovell

Carol 'Sudie' Lovell, 60, of Beardstown, formerly of Bloomington, died Friday afternoon, (May 30, 2003) at her residence.

Her funeral will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church, Beardstown, with Mike Courson officiating.  The family will meet with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church.  A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Beardstown City Cemetery.  Sager Funeral Home, Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Beardstown Christian Academy or Cass/Schuyler Area Hospice.

Survivors include her husband, James L Lovell, Beardstown; two sons, Mark (Mary) Lovell, Beardstown and Matthew (Diana) Lovell, Franklin; two daughters, Mary (Bill) Upp and Emily Lovell, both of Beardstown; her father, Gene Shifflett, Bloomington; eight grandchildren; one great grandson;  two brothers, Bud Otto, Miami, and Mike (Rena) Shifflett, Bloomington; and one sister, Terri (Mike) Abfalder, Normal.
