I was deeply saddened by the passing of Karen who was my best friend in high school. She was always fun to be around and we shared many good times together and with the Eastside kids. Coming from a less privileged background she introduced me to what it was like to be brought up with wealth and privilege and all the benefits and pitfalls that come with it. The last time I saw her was at the 25th reunion. We danced and enjoyed talking. Rest In Peace, Karen.

I also hope Karen rests in peace.  I remember her from Mitiz's and parties at her beautiful family home.  I was so impressed she had a lamb as a pet.  She was nice and had a good sense of humor.  I last talked to her around the 50th reunion.  I knew her older brother Paul because he was a senior when I entered high school at the old school on Washington St.  He passed away in 2016.  Karen's brother Tony was a close friend and former house mate of my brother Danny.  Sorry we don't have any of the original Beich family left in Bloomington. they were colorful and memorable.  Hope they are enjoying a heavenly reunion.

Yvonne Johannes Donham asked me to convey her deepest condolences for Karen and to her remaining family.  Yvonne doesn't have a computor.  She and Karen were close in high school.
