I miss Steve so much. His locker was right next to mine and we had lunch every day. Rest in peace Steve.

I went to Grade School with Steve. The old Jefferson. I remember going to his house to play. He lived near BJHS. After that we lost contact. As I remember he passed away of Leukemia in HS. We must of liked each other in Grade School but I can not remember much more.

Steve,
I still think of you whenever I hear a clarinet. We had some fun in the woodwind section of band in Jr. High, didn't we. And of course, we enjoyed Mr. Fairfield's history class together. Losing Chuck Payne in October 74 and you in May75 were sobering events for us all. Those who are remembered are with us still.

Steve, Like Sandy everytime I hear a clarinet I remember how we battled for first chair in Jr. High, tho always in the best of spirit - or the cinnamon oil soaked reeds right before a concert in grade school!  What a great guy you were, miss you - but you'll always be that smiling boy we knew.  Rest in peace, and you'll be with us in spirit.  Mary Ann

I went to Jefferson School with Steve.  The first day of school in 1st grade, he asked me to marry him.  I was scared and didn't know what to say and didn't want to hurt his feelings so I told him to ask me on the last day of school.  To my surprise, he did.  I told him I was really too young to make that decision.  He was a good friend.
