As an adventure I hitchhiked all of Route 66 in 1963 from downtown Chicago to Santa Monica, Calif. with a total of 4 rides. The last ride was in Oklahoma City;...a driver whose parents coincidently lived directly behind the home of my college roommate in Beverly Hills. I later wrote about the trip. Would not recommend anything like it today. - Stephen

Dan Shickle at Advocate Christ Medical Center

Yesterday they moved me from ICU to Tellemitry Now on
9th floor 922e . More moving may occur as docs and insurance settle.
Visit from James Riley Su...nday and Wendesday Steve's BRo in law, with dean and Diane. Popping in yesterday.
I have been blessed by friends and family!
Legs are starting to come back as I can move them around bed. Exercise while laying in bed not bad deal.
