These pictures bring back so many memories...MOSTLY good! (haha)  Ventura's was jusut about 3 blocks from my house, and Walgreen's was the place to wait for the bus in addition to all the other things it was.  I left Bloomington in '65 and now don't get back very often since I've lost 4 siblings very quickly in the past few years.  One thing I would like to see is current photographs in the forum.....it would be fun to see how all we "moldy oldies" are doing.   Any takers?

My brother worked at Hubbards Cupboard during High School and learned how they made breaded pork tenderloins.  To this day he makes one mean tenderloin sandwhich.  As far as what we show on here I really enjoy the pictures of "long ago Bloomington" and trying to figure out where things used to be. You do a fantastic job Milan.

OK, several of us went to Hubbard's Cupboard often and we'd get the iced tea with a slice of lemon. One of us would always take the lemons and make lemon aide so he wouldn't have to pay anything. I won't say who di that cause I don't want Sloan upset with me.
