The second Wednesday was a decision made of necessity the first month we had the breakfast. That no longer exists so if people want to change it, let me know. Of course it mostly depends on those who frequently attend. Good idea for a conversation tomorrow at breakfast.

It was great to see Dan and Jane Shickle at breakfast today. The days of the breakfast were considered and the group felt no need to make a change. They are used to it so it will continue the same in the future. The second Wednesday of every month will be Breakfast Wednesday for the Class of 1962.

Thanks, Milan, for the information.  I am hoping to put a trip together this summer for Bloomington and if I can manage it, would like to attend the group breakfast....that's the reason I was asking.

I have heard there are a few classmates who no longer get our emails. Class Creators came up with a system a couple of years ago. If 3 emails get bounced back from you, it automatically drops you from the email list. All you have to do is log on to the site, do an update on your profile and you are back in. An administrator can't do that for you. Let me know if I can help. It's an easy process. Class Creators did this because of the space these emails take up and it bogs down the system.

First of all, thanks to Milan for all the work he has done to keep this site up and going .Periodically Pete and I will read some of the messages people have sent in. I think tonight we have spent over an hour looking at the "new" stuff. Thanks to those who sent birthday wishes--big 71--ouch! Larry Shoup, next time you're down this way try again. I can't imagine where we were. We're always home!! It's so sad to read about the passing of classmates. I still picture them as 18 and young (you know, like me!) Thanks again for all the hard work, Milan. It's very appreciated.

Not to make this site morbid, but to keep in informative, I will be adding obituaries for our teachers from BHS. Any ideas on who you want to see? In case you thought as I did, some of our teachers were very old when we had them in 1962. Guess what? None were older than we are now. :)

I'm curious about Miss Hanson, typing teacher;...my homeroom teacher.

Thanks, Stephen Ringler.

Steve, Lydia Hansen is one I haven't been able to find. Last I knew, she and her sister were living back in Lindsay, NE, their home town. That was in 1975.

You know I've thought a lot about the teachers probably bring younger than we are now when we had them.  Can you imagine Miss Lange or Miss  Vorndran  running around in jeans, sweatshirts and tennis shoes?  I can't picture that in my wildest imagination.

Miss Ameila Vorndran was once a PE teacher at BHS. :)

We won't be able to share the breakfast with you from Florida because we start another volunteer rotation here in Vero Beach. Will be busy for a couple of months then free again.
