Our class needs to keep our friend Milan in our thoughts and prayers.  He disclosed they’ve found cancer in his spine and he has started treatment for it.  He beat it  it once and I’m positive he’ll do it again.

October 5, 2019, Mary Selk needs former chorus members for a concert we will give at Westminster Village. We will practice on Thursday and Friday, 10-3 and 10-4 at 7pm. We will give the performance on Saturday 10-5-2019 at 3pm with a practice shortly before. Let me know if you plan to attend. We need singers. You don't have to have been in A Cappella. Mary is 98 and she is planning to do this one more time in 2021 :)

For all classmates who went to Irving School, they are having a reunion for all former classmates Saturday September 7th from 2-4 p.m.  The building we went to is long gone but I’ve never been in the new school and I think it’d be interesting.  If anyone is interested, they would like one and all to come but they have to know who you are.  I’d be happy to let them know and you can contact me at menkenbarb@gmail.com.

This coming Wednesday, August 14, is Breakfast Wednesday for the Class of 1962. Good food, great people, wonderful conversations. If you haven't been to one of our breakfasts, you are missing something special. See you all on Wednesday. We eat at Shannon's on Mercer and Veterans Pkwy around 9am. 

Secondly, but most important to me, I have worked with many BHS groups and most are very kind but the Class of 1962 has been awesome to work with. You folks have shown so much appreciation. I feel a part of your group. Thanks for how you make me feel.
