Just to update and several have asked about my battle with cancer: White count dropped again to 25% of what it was 2 weeks ago. Hemagloban is lowest since we knew I had cancer and started testing. Platelets are lowest also since we started treatment. Those will all come back. The medicine causes part of those. When I look back this Spring, I will know we kicked some serious butt. Thanks for all the support and prayers.

I don't often post messages; but I want to express how grateful I am to Milan for his interest, dedication and work to keep all of our classmates connected, even from distant points, through this site. Dan  Shickle gave us the bad new of Milan's passing.   He has done so much for our class a group of us felt it would be nice if we sent flowers.  If anyone would like to contribute to it you can mail a check to me, Barb Menken at 3003 E. Washington St., Bloomington, Il. 61704. Make your checks payable to BHS Class of 1962.  Larry Keeran and Larry Shoup your checks will be fine.  Any leftover money will go into the class account for any future expenses.  Milan fought a hard battle, he told me in November he didn't have time to die, he had too many things on his plate to get done.  He was a good person and I'll miss seeing him at the class breakfasts.

I am so sorry to read of the passing of Milan Jackson.  He was a dedicated friend of the BHS Class of 62 and we will miss his humor and research in maintaining our class Web Site.

He maintained his humor and dignity as he battled cancer..  He was always so POSITIVE on his FaceBook postings.

Barb, I think it is appropriate for the class to send flowers.  My check is being put in the mail today.
