BLOOMINGTON — Diane Daugherty Brent, 72, of Bloomington, passed away at 4:46 p.m. Monday (Nov. 28, 2016) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

Diane will be laid to rest next to her mother, Dorothy Daugherty. A private family graveside service will be Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois. Arrangements are being handled by Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington.

Diane was born March 28, 1944, in Bloomington, the daughter of Earl F. and Dorothy Woodward Daugherty.

Surviving are her three children, Mark (Patti) Brent, Bloomington; Laura (John) Wright, Atlanta, Ga.; and Elizabeth “Beth” Brent, Bloomington; six grandchildren, William and Robert Brent, Bloomington, and Julia, Joanna, Faith and Elle Wright, Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Victoria (Rick) Kasper, Wheaton; and two brothers, David Daugherty, Bloomington, and Dyke (Sheryl) Daugherty, Bloomington.
