Nancy Lee Shutt age 79 Bloomington IL, passed away at 1:25 AM on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at her residence. A private family service was held. Nancy was born January 14, 1944, in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Ted and Thelma Anderson Defenbaugh. She married David Shutt on August 31, 1963, at the First Christian Church, Bloomington, IL and recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Also surviving is her 3 children, Jeanne (Brian) Graves, Bloomington, IL,, James (Brooke) Shutt, Towanda, IL, Jeff (Erica) Shutt Downs, IL,10 Grandchildren, Tabitha, Sabryna, Seth, Taylor, Danica, Devon, Zach, Chaly, Clayton and Hunter, 13 great grandchildren, 1 brother, James Defenbaugh, Bloomington, IL., Nancy is preceded in death by her parents.

Nancy graduated from Bloomington High School in 1962. She was a lifelong Elvis Presley fan. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family. She has enjoyed the “country life” at their home with Dave and Friday. Nancy and Dave own Doll Furniture, Normal. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kim Bankston APN, Bloomington Primary, OSF Wound Clinic, OSF Medical Center, ICU Stepdown and OSF Homecare & Hospice for their care and comfort shown to Nancy.
